Although there are many homemade exfoliants for dry skin, I will share my 5 best selections. These will not only cleanse your skin but also take care of it.

Homemade Scrubs For Dry Skin

1. Coffee Grounds Scrub

Coffee grounds are good for revitalizing all skin types. They work very efficiently for dry skin. This is the simplest homemade facial scrub for dry skin. You only need to grind a few grains of coffee. You can also use the remains of your morning coffee. In 1 tablespoon of coffee, add 1 tablespoon of water. Mix well. Apply this mixture on your face and rub it in a circular motion. Rub for 4 to 6 minutes. Rinse. Dry your face with patting. This will naturally exfoliate your skin by removing dead skin cells, leaving it fresh and clean.

2. Cleansing Cream And Sugar Scrub

Splash some warm water on your face. With a soft cloth, rub gently to dry. Take 1 tablespoon of cleansing cream in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of fine ground sugar to it. Mix well to create a gritty paste. Apply this mixture on your face. Frótalo with circular movements. Try to cover small lines, dry spots and the side of the nose. Avoid applying it on your eyes. Now moisten a soft cloth with warm water. Remove the scrub from the face with the cloth. Finish this scrubbing session by splashing cold water on your face. This scrub for dry skin will close the pores and refresh the face. Dry your skin with a soft towel.

3. Green Tea And Honey Scrub

Green tea acts as an anti-aging agent for your skin. It helps reduce spots and wrinkles and also repairs scar tissue.

Prepare a cup of extra strong loose green tea. Pour 1 tablespoon of it into a bowl. Let it cool for a few minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar in it. Stir well. Now pour 1 tablespoon of honey to it. Mix well. Honey has great antibacterial and moisturizing properties. Apply this scrub on your face. Rub the entire face with focus on the spots that are dry. Remove it with a cloth. Rinse your face with cold water.

4. Coconut Oil and Lemon Scrub

Coconut oil is a good tonic for the skin, while lemon exfoliates and softens the skin. The oil-based exfoliants are best suited for dry skin.

Take ½ cup of coconut oil. If you do not have coconut oil, you can use olive oil or almond oil instead, but the use of peanut oil, vegetable oil or canola oil should be avoided. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and mix well. Now add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to this mixture. This increases the cleaning properties of this exfoliant. Rub all over your freshly washed face. Wash it with splashes of cold water on your face.

5. Almond Meal Scrub

Although almond food is available in all stores, you can also do it in your home easily. Simply take the raw almonds in a food processor and pulse until they become a finely ground almond flour. Now in 1 cup of almond flour, add ½ cup of almond oil or olive oil. Add a few drops of essential oils. Lemon, lavender, rose and other essential oils make this exfoliant more luxurious. Now rub your whole face. Wash with cold water and dry.

Are not these homemade smocks wonderful? And they are so easy to make. Why spend money on chemically treated exfoliants when you have the option of using such natural and effective exfoliants? What does it say?
